YOGA BASIC: A beginner class. Gentle flow to relieve lower back pain and improve posture.
MINDFUL YOGA: A meditation and breath focus inspired yoga practice that invites you to tune in to the subtle energy flowing within. A 45 minute class with meditation, pranayama and restorative practise followed by a light vegetarian lunch (Booking only)
DHARMA MITTRA: Dharma Yoga is a system of classical Hatha Raja yoga based on the teachings of New York's renowned yogi Sri Dharma Mittra. The open class is suitable for advanced beginners and upwards, with options for those who would like to try more advanced poses. Can be both physically and mentally challenging and you will learn many of the popular postures and be shown techniques to achieve poses you never thought you could.
CORE YOGA: Strong back, healthy core. Focus on developing and maintaining strong mid-section and healthy back. Class combines stretches and focused strengthening exercises to build balanced, flexible and strong muscles and joints.
VINYASA FLOW: A dynamic flowing style of yoga, harmonising breath and movement to give strength, grace and freedom.
YOGA ALIGNMENT: This yoga class is suitable for all levels and focuses on precise alignment and quality of movement, so that you can learn to move with ease in your body. You will increase your flexibility, strength and stamina, improve your posture and concentration, and quieten your mind. Suitable for all levels – modifications and variations will be offered.
RESTORATIVE YOGA: Specific restorative poses which are passive and designed to adjust the nervous system and rest the adrenal glands enabling the body to move towards balance.
HIP FOCUS YOGA: Hip openers work the epicenter of your body, where many old emotions can get trapped. Finding flexibility and a sense of surrender in these poses can bring a lightness to your sense of being.
YIN YOGA: Yin Yoga uses long passive holds to work on the connective tissues of the physical anatomy and on the energy system of the subtle anatomy resulting in a profound balancing of your 'inner' strength and 'outer' flexibility. The perfect antidote to urban stress and a great balance to a more ''yang' style yoga practice like Ashtanga.
